~ 3eress Assama
The “3eress Assama” is a historical and religious play combining two periods, one during the life of Jesus Christ and the other 85 years after Christ, where John enters a group of fishermen and tries to inform them about the words and beliefs of his Lord despite all the Roman Empire discrimination towards Christians.
Schedule of the Play From Tursday till Sunday at 8:30 pm AND an extra performance "Matinée" each Sunday at 4:30 pm

~ The General Chapter meeting of the Congregation of Lebanese Missionaries took place between July 19th
and July 25th at Bethania – Harissa.
There were a 3-day retreat followed by 5 days of chapter work and the meeting ended with the election for the new period.
The new 5-member council is:

Fr. Malek Abou Tanos – General Counselor
Fr. Marwan Tabet – General Counselor
Fr. Mouin Saba – General Counselor

 

~ Radio Voice of Charity wins 2007 father Abi Akl Award
Our station, Voice of Charity, wins father Boutros Abi Akl award for 2007 for its communication, social and spiritual services in the community. The ceremony was held at Apotres school on May 24, 2007.

~ On the evening of Friday May 6, 2005 an explosion fully destroyed our radio station Sawt al-Mahabbah Voice Of Charity (VOC) and badly damaged the neighboring St. John's Maronite Catholic church in the Christian town of Jounieh...
